Rain

Rain-a season of joy
a reason to cry!
Rain-the time to enjoy
a moment to fly!
Rain-song for a lover
a memory to remember!
Rain-words for a poet
a mood to last forever!
Rain-the time to bloom
the shower of life!
Rain-wash of gloom
life without strife!
Rain-a sign of doom
the end of grim and old!
Rain-a sort of loom
weaving a future of gold!
Rain-few drops meeting an ocean
a flood of emotions?or illusion?
Rain-fall of heavenly waters!
the cause of waterlogging in lanes and gutter!!

Waiting

I stand by the window
looking at the grassy meadows
I am waiting.
I stand below the trees
closing my eyes to feel the sunshine
I am waiting.
I stand on the roof
looking at the distant land away
I am waiting.
I stand in a closed room
feeling the coldner of walls
I am waiting.
I am still waiting for the one
who is the dew drop on grasses
sunlight among the trees
who calls me from a distant land
and me, from the four wall he frees!
I am waiting.
But may not this wait
turn too late!
May not my tears turn dew drops of grasses
May not the sunlight be the fire
as my soul passes...
I am waiting,still waiting
To be loved with love whhich never pauses.

Not for me

Searching the earth
I lost what I had
What i got,
I lost in the sea!
Breathing the air,
I got fire in my heart ..
And I learnt ,the world is not for me!
Setting myself beneath the sky
I tried to be free...
Feeling the wind move fast above me,
I tried to reach hell!!
But even death was not for me.
Now am here standing
below the sky..
Below me the earth i can see..
Even fate has turned its face away
Noone knows what is for me!!
